The Purest Form

“The Purest Form” documents Team Santo Studio competing in The Speed Project Secrets 2026 from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. The Speed Project is an underground, unsanctioned relay race starting from the Santa Monica pier and finishing at the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign. However, one could argue that in recent years it’s become a fairly commercialized race.

Which is why we took a different approach. Leaning less into the actual race itself and more into the experiential feeling of the desert, its juxtaposed offerings and what happens when we submit to its authority.

"The Purest Form" is a conceptual film about the stillness, purity and comradery found by running through the desert as a team. Not for hype, not for noise, not for self recognition. The desert doesn't really give a damn about any of that.
